About Us

Clarks Home and Garden has been a very big part of building and beautifying the greater bay area with natural stone, soil, mulches, and decorative rocks for over 50 years.

Starting as a trucking company hauling sand and gravel, Clarks now has full-blown landscape supply centers to meet all your landscaping needs. We specialize in bulk materials for the contractor as well as the do-it-yourselfers.

Small orders or pickups are a big part of our operation, but delivery is a service provided for small or large projects.

Please feel free to come browse at our newest location in Hayward, California -- the only indoor store in the area. This store was merged with our sister store, LH Voss Materials Fremont (which relocated to Hayward).

After the fire storm in Oakland in 1991 we opened a store in Oakland on Macarthur Blvd to help rebuild the Oakland Hills landscape tapestry and the store is
still going strong after 15 years.
